CONCACAF Football Association and UNICEF are working together to help children

ملخص

REALPLAYER VIDEO – During the semi-finals of the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup at Giants Stadium, UNICEF and CONCACAF – the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football – signed an agreement to form a long term partnership to advance the rights of children.

The partnership between UNICEF and CONACACAF will promote football throughout North and Central America and the Caribbean, helping to fulfil every child’s right to play and recreation. It will also spotlight the challenges the region’s children face, such as the ever-increasing threat of HIV/AIDS and violence. UNICEF works with a broad range of sporting partners including FIFA, the International Olympic Committee, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), and the Asian Cricket Council, to build a better world for every child – through the power of sport.
