OCHA (Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs):
Humanitarian Funding needed for the Cholera Response in Haiti

The humanitarian organisations in Haiti are requesting a total of US$ 164 million to assist the Government of Haiti to imit the impact of the cholera outbreak.

The strategy and necessary projects emphasize immediate measures, but have an overall planning and budgeting horizon through 2011 to be sure of giving prevention and treatment measures enough duration. This strategy’s initial set of projects are proposed by 42 NGOs, five UN organizations, and the International Organization for Migration.

To make a donation please go directly to the funding website of the humanitarian organization listed in the Appeal that you would like to support.
