Details

The Project will result in reducing the cost of electricity for consumers in Vava’u and will reduce Tonga’s economical dependency to oil price fluctuations. This is achieved by:
Feeding solar electricity into the grid reducing the cost of electricity to consumers, and
Reducing consumption of 180,000 L/year of diesel.
The Plant fullfills 13 % of the demand of the island.
